What do CSDD statistics show and what is their significance? They indicate how successfully students of a particular driving school pass the final CSDD exams. The higher the success rate, the larger the proportion of students who passed the exam on the first attempt. The lower the success rate, the fewer students managed to do so.
By choosing a driving school with better results, the likelihood of paying for repeated exams decreases. The theory exam costs EUR 12.63, while the driving exam costs EUR 38.52. To choose the most economically beneficial option, it is worth checking which driving school demonstrates stronger results. It is also important to consider how many students from each driving school have taken the exam. The larger this number, the more reliable the data.
Theory
The theoretical training level of Autostils-L is 92.18%, while Presto ranks 1st in Latvia among large driving schools with a performance of 98.38%. The industry average is 95.14%. Presto significantly exceeds this industry average, whereas Autostils-L not only shows a lower result but also presents a higher probability that students will need to retake the theory exam, once again paying EUR 12.63. It should also be noted that about 7 times more students from Presto Driving School have taken this exam, which makes the strong performance of Presto even more convincing.
The latest CSDD data shows that Presto’s distance learning platform delivers the best exam results among all 5 platforms.

Driving
Autostils-L students passed the driving exam on the first attempt in 45.71% of cases, while Presto students did so in 42.68% of cases. However, it should be taken into account that nearly 4 times more students from Presto Driving School have taken the exam. This means that a larger number of Presto students demonstrated driving performance in the exam that confirms strong driving skills. In addition, according to results Presto ranks 1st among the largest driving schools in Latvia. Both Autostils-L and Presto exceed the industry average, which is 38.36%.
By service we mean the level of services included in the price. Service largely differentiates one driving school from another. The more formalities involved, the more time you will need to spend attending in person and the fewer opportunities you will have to plan your own schedule.
Unlike Autostils-L, Presto offers:
Autostils-L offers a promotion for theory lessons, but this promotion is essentially permanent because the promotional price is offered continuously. You can learn more about promotion and coupon tricks here.
Presto offers its students a permanent and motivating promotion – reimbursement of CSDD exam expenses up to EUR 51.15 if the exams are passed on the first attempt within the specified time.
The total cost of training is a considerable investment, therefore it is important to carefully review the contract and, if necessary, show it to a lawyer to check whether it contains hidden obligations (hidden costs) or risks.
Autostils-L does not allow prospective students to review the contract remotely on the website. It can only be reviewed in person at the time of signing. This means there is less time to analyze the contract terms and no opportunity to consult a lawyer in advance. It should be taken into account that during signing people often do not pay attention to smaller contract details, which may result in overlooking important information and nuances. The school’s attitude toward transparency suggests a lack of openness. If there is nothing to hide, why not publish it as a freely available document?
The Presto Driving School contract can be reviewed by anyone before signing here. It describes the training process in detail, leaving no room for hidden costs. The contract is valid for 1 year.
Reviews of Autostils-L can be viewed on its website here and also on its Facebook page. Authorized reviews, however, are visible only on social networks, while the number of reviews on the website is relatively small.
Presto has the largest database of authorized reviews in Latvia. Moreover, reviews can be viewed not only about the driving school itself but also about specific theory lecturers and instructors. No other driving school has as many authorized (real) reviews.
The complaint portal sudzibas.lv is popular but sometimes not objective. Therefore readers should evaluate the context – the nature of the complaint, the driving school’s response and whether the issue was resolved or unresolved. It should also be considered that there is a correlation between the number of served clients, the size of the driving school and the number of complaints.
