Theory distance learning
Beginning April 15, 2020, the Driving School Presto will begin online theory training.
Instead of applying for training in person at one of Presto’s offices, select Distance learning on our website to sign a contract for training in your desired category and group.
Theory training has never been this simple!
Take driving theory lessons regardless of your location, without spending time and money to visit your nearest Presto office, for a single price anywhere in Latvia.
Concluding an agreement
Get acquainted with the agreement, conclude it and pay remotely with a payment card on our website, thereby confirming the conclusion of the agreement.
Presto Autoskola is the only driving school in Latvia that offers its customers the opportunity to get acquainted with an agreement online before concluding it.

Beginning training
To fully participate in online training, trainees require suitable hardware.
Distance learning classes are held over the Cisco Webex Meetings video conferencing tool, which trainees are required to install on the device to be used for participation in training sessions.
To fully participate in distance learning classes, trainees are required to grant camera and microphone access, as enabled by the built-in or peripheral devices on a computer or phone. Should a trainee fail to provide live video of themselves during a class, attendance will not be counted! It is important to make sure you have a stable internet connection.
An e-mail invitation is sent to each trainee before every distance learning class, using the address provided in the training agreement. The e-mail includes a link to the training session and the scheduled start time.
Session links are also available in the trainee’s profile, next to every session in the Theory classes section.
Trainees should join training sessions at least 10 minutes before the scheduled start time to prevent any last-minute technical issues that might interfere with participation in the session. Joining at the last minute without being ready means that class attendance might not be counted.
IMPORTANT! Before joining the virtual training space, trainees are REQUIRED to provide their name, surname and e-mail address. This data must correspond to data provided in the agreement. To change your name, surname and e-mail, see the instructions below. Find Webex on your device and open it. Find the pencil icon on the pop-up panel. Click on it and make the necessary changes.
Trainees who are able to attend classes in a quiet environment can keep their microphones on, enabling them to communicate with the teacher just as they would face to face.
The training process
Attendance of each online class is mandatory under CSDD rules.
Our teachers will register the attendance of each student, therefore, if a student disconnects from our online platform during a lesson, his or her attendance will not count. The training module will have to be taken again with another group.
As before, in order to take the school theory exam, you must attend 100% of the theory lessons.
The CSDD will inspect our training groups to check the attendance of the trainees, making sure that they are visible and connected during the video lessons.
Our online training platform allows the trainees to communicate with the instructor in case they have questions.
