Here, you can follow up on the latest information (29/10/2020, 11:00 a.m.) regarding the operation of the Presto Driving School during the COVID crisis.

We urge everyone to deal with the changes in public life respectfully and to use their free time wisely.

Office working hours

The new office working hours are from 09:00 to 20:00. When communicating with the driving school, please consider calling, writing e-mails, asking questions via our website, using the means of communication available to you in your client profile, and making all payments remotely.

If any of the above is not possible, critically evaluate your health, and then come to our office in person following the Internal Regulations (https://presto.lv/en/driving-school-internal-regulations). In this case, please keep a 2-meter distance between you and our office workers. We offer hand disinfection products as well as polyethylene gloves for exchanging documents and making cash payments.

Theory courses

You can study at Presto Driving School both online and in person.

In the Branches section of the website, select Distance Learning to enter into an agreement for training in the desired category and group.

Theory exams

Theoretical exams are taken remotely, in person - exceptionally.

You may only take an exam if you have critically evaluated your health. Before taking the exam, you will be asked to sign a Declaration of Perfect Health and take a temperature test with an electronic measuring tool (3 seconds).

Driving lessons

You may only take driving lessons if you have critically evaluated your health. You are strictly FORBIDDEN to attend driving lessons if you have any symptoms of the virus. By attending a driving lesson, you automatically declare that you are in a state of perfect health.

If the driving instructor has reasonable grounds to suspect that you are not in good health, he or she has the right to terminate the lesson without a refund and to ban you from taking further lessons for 2 weeks. Your temperature levels will be checked with an electronic measuring tool (3 seconds) as part of the evaluation procedure.

To ensure the safest possible training process, the interior surfaces of the car used during the lesson will be disinfected before and after each driving lesson.

If you are experiencing symptoms, you may cancel the lesson in less than 24 hours before it begins without penalties. Please contact the administration about this via your profile in addition to providing a doctor's report and Covid-19 test results. In this case, the money for the lesson will be refunded within 1 workin day. In this case, you thereby also agree to refrain from applying for driving lessons for another 2 weeks (these lessons will be canceled).

In order to avoid movement by public transport, you can call the instructor and request the start of driving lesson from your home on your own time /money expenses. Taking into account that in the current situation the traffic in the city is relatively small, driving in such conditions will be much more efficient and effective.

Driving exams

The same rules are applied to school driving exams as to driving lessons.

When you will apply to CSDD driving exam, you will receive proper instructions.

IMPORTANT!!! It is strictly prohibited to come to our offices or attend driving lessons if you detect any symptoms of the Covid-19 virus:

Most common symptoms:

• Elevated temperature
• Fever
• Dry cough
• Lack of breath
• Pneumonia

Uncommon symptoms:

• Pain in muscles, joints
• Nasal congestion, runny nose
• Throat pain
• Diarrhea

Since the incubation period may last from 2 to 14 days, it is essential to critically evaluate one’s health and quarantine oneself during this period.
