100 euro support from Madona municipality for 10-12 grade pupils
The pupils of grades 10-12 can receive EUR 100 support from the municipality of Madona district for the B category driver training in the following regional educational institutions:
- Madona City Highschool
- Madona State Gymnasium
- Cesvaine Highschool
- Lubana Highschool
- Ērgļu Highschool
The support is divided accordingly: 70 EUR for theoretical training and 30 EUR for the first aid training.
The procedure is as follows: the student concludes an agreement with the driving school, and the driving school submits lists of students to the district public education schools;
Parents sign a contract with school directors, committing to cover the rest of the expenses for their children’s training process to obtain a driver's licence, as well as agree to return the funds invested by the municipality in case the training is not finished.
The moment the student has passed theoretical and first aid training exams, the driving school receives a payment from the municipality for the service provided. Then an electronic application from the profile must be submitted by selecting one of the following options:
1. Transfer EUR 100 to the indicated account as a repayment;
2. Transfer EUR 100 to cover the expenses of the driving lessons, adding this amount to the student's balance.

- Full-time face-to-face training - EUR 60
- Video training (3 lessons face-fo-face) - EUR 30
At the moment, 80% of students in Latvia opt for video training. By choosing the cheapest option, you will be left with more support money to spend on your driving lessons.
