SIA ”Presto Autoskola”, hereinafter referred to as the “DRIVING SCHOOL”, and , hereinafter referred to as the "STUDENT", enter into the following agreement, hereinafter in the text – the agreement:
1.1. The DRIVING SCHOOL provides the STUDENT with training in the selected category in accordance with Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 358 “Regulations Regarding the Training of Vehicle Drivers and Vehicle Driver Training Programmes”, hereinafter - the Regulations.
1.2. Upon entering into the agreement, a profile with a Presto e-konts (hereinafter - e-konts) is automatically created for the STUDENT. Profile access: username - the STUDENT’S email specified in the agreement, password - the agreement number. After logging into the system, the STUDENT changes the password.
1.3. During a state-declared emergency situation, Agreement Clauses No. 4.5., 4.6., 4.7., 4.8., 4.9., 4.10., 4.11., 4.12. and the subsection of Section 4 on First Aid Courses shall cease to be in force.

3.1. The STUDENT may make payment:
3.1.1. by bank payment card;
3.1.2. by bank transfer, based on the agreement, indicating the agreement number and purpose;
3.1.3. in cash at the DRIVING SCHOOL office;
4.1. Lessons will take place at – X, ....
4.2. Language of instruction - Latviešu.
4.3. In accordance with the Regulations, the start date of the group may be postponed if there is not the minimum required number of persons to commence training. The DRIVING SCHOOL shall inform the STUDENT of the exact start date of the lessons.
4.4. If the lessons do not commence within 45 days from the signing of the agreement, the STUDENT has the right to request the return of the money paid, with or without termination of the agreement.
4.5. A theory lesson shall be considered attended if the STUDENT has attended all scheduled study hours on the training day.
4.6. The STUDENT applies electronically for the make-up of missed theory lessons using the DRIVING SCHOOL’s homepage presto.lv, selecting the desired make-up branch, day and time. Registration of the lesson with CSDD is completed within 3 working days, after which the STUDENT receives a confirmation email. After receiving the email, the STUDENT is permitted to attend the booked theory lesson.
4.7. If the STUDENT cannot attend the booked make-up session for a missed theory lesson, the STUDENT must cancel the booking no later than 48 hours before the start of the lesson; otherwise, the fee paid for the lesson shall not be refunded to the STUDENT.
4.8. The organisation of the DRIVING SCHOOL theory test takes place electronically using the DRIVING SCHOOL’s homepage presto.lv.
4.9. The STUDENT is admitted to the theory test on the condition that all obligations towards the DRIVING SCHOOL have been fulfilled, and that a valid medical certificate and first aid certificate are in place.
4.10. The driving school theory test may be taken once per day. It consists of 35 questions. The STUDENT may make 1 mistake; otherwise, the test must be taken again.
4.11. Upon arriving for the driving school theory test, the STUDENT presents an identity document; otherwise, the STUDENT is not admitted to the test.
4.12. If the STUDENT cannot attend the theory test, the STUDENT must cancel it no later than 24 hours before the start of the test; otherwise, the fee paid for the test shall not be refunded to the STUDENT’S e-konts balance.
4.13. The DRIVING SCHOOL enters the data into the CSDD database within 2 working days, after which the taking of the theory test at CSDD becomes available, and the STUDENT receives an informational email about this.
4.14. The organisation of the DRIVING SCHOOL theory test takes place electronically using the DRIVING SCHOOL’s homepage presto.lv. Taking the test in person at the Riga Centre district branch may take place only by exception, by booking by telephone at +371 28813188 or by email: info@presto.lv.
4.15. The STUDENT is admitted to the theory test on the condition that all obligations towards the DRIVING SCHOOL have been fulfilled, and that a valid medical certificate and first aid certificate are in place.
4.16. The driving school theory test may be taken once per day. It consists of 35 questions. The STUDENT may make 1 mistake; otherwise, the test must be taken again.
4.17. For remote taking of the test, the Cisco Webex video presentation tool on a phone is used to provide the camera, and the Any Desk computer program is used for remote completion of the test on the driving school’s computer. Therefore, both a phone and a computer will be required at the same time.
4.18. The student is invited to the remote test via the email specified in the agreement. In the email, the student sees the lesson time and the link to enter it. The STUDENT is prohibited from sharing the link with unauthorised persons.
4.19. Before entering the virtual test room using the provided link, the student is asked to enter their first name, surname, and email address once again. The student enters their real first name, surname, and the email address specified in the agreement.
4.20. After entering the virtual test room, the STUDENT places the phone against the computer monitor or computer so that the STUDENT is clearly visible to the examiner from the front and so that it does not interfere with taking the test. During the test, the STUDENT is prohibited from taking their eyes off the monitor, turning around, leaving/abandoning the test location, talking to other persons except the examiner, as well as performing any actions unrelated to taking the test. At the examiner’s request, the STUDENT shows the room in which they are located so that the examiner can verify the fairness of the test.
4.21. The STUDENT presents a passport or identity card to the examiner. The examiner verifies that the STUDENT is ready to begin the test.
4.22. The examiner asks the STUDENTS to launch the Any Desk program. The examiner provides each examinee with a connection digit code via online chat, which must be entered into the Any Desk program. Shortly thereafter, the connection will be approved, and the STUDENT will begin taking the test on the CSDD homepage in the relevant category.
4.23. The STUDENT ensures full participation in the online theory test, with the ability to ensure camera and microphone functionality, the necessary software downloaded in advance, as well as sufficient internet capacity.In the opposite case, the examiner may refuse to administer the online theory test.
4.24. If all the above-mentioned agreement clauses in the section ‘’online examination procedure’’ are not complied with, the examiner may interrupt the taking of the test by informing the STUDENT and stating the reason (first time - warning, second time - disqualification from the test), as a result of which the test will not be counted and must be taken again by registering for it in the manner specified in the agreement as for a repeated test.
4.25. After the end of the test, the DRIVING SCHOOL representative informs the STUDENT of the test result.
4.26. If the STUDENT cannot participate in the theory test, the STUDENT must cancel it no later than 24 hours before the start of the test; otherwise, the fee paid for the test shall not be refunded to the STUDENT’S e-konts balance.
4.27. The DRIVING SCHOOL enters the data into the CSDD database within 2 working days, after which the taking of the theory test at CSDD becomes available, and the STUDENT receives an informational email about this.
4.28. A video recording is made for test control purposes. The STUDENT hereby confirms consent to such recording. The video recording shall be stored for no longer than 1 (one) month.
4.29. After receiving the informational email, the STUDENT takes the CSDD theory test within 3 working days, or retakes the driving school test 3 working days before the planned CSDD test.
4.30. If the STUDENT does not have a first aid course certificate, the STUDENT registers for and pays for first aid courses on the DRIVING SCHOOL’s homepage (https://presto.lv/en/first-aid-training) or in person at the DRIVING SCHOOL. The course assessment takes place at the end of the 2nd lesson. Persons with secondary or higher medical education, or those studying at relevant educational institutions, are exempt from first aid courses.
4.31. If the STUDENT cannot attend the first aid course, the STUDENT must cancel the booking no later than 48 hours before the start of the course; otherwise, the fee paid for the training shall not be refunded to the STUDENT.
4.32. If the STUDENT does not have a driver’s medical certificate, then on the DRIVING SCHOOL’s homepage (https://presto.lv/en/medical-certificate), the STUDENT selects a medical commission at one of the medical institutions by making an electronic booking and payment (special price).
5.1. The organisation of driving training takes place electronically using the DRIVING SCHOOL’s homepage presto.lv.
5.2. In accordance with the procedure set out in Section 2 of the agreement, the STUDENT’S e-konts balance is topped up by EUR 200.00 after receipt of the payment for ordering driving lessons. Additional payments are made in accordance with the procedure set out in Section 3.
5.3. The STUDENT selects the desired lesson time and instructor (taking into account the price list of the respective instructor and confirms it).
5.4. If the STUDENT cannot attend a driving lesson, the STUDENT must cancel the driving lesson no later than 24 hours before the start of the lesson; otherwise, the fee paid for the driving training shall not be refunded to the STUDENT’S e-konts balance.
5.5 The instructor has the right to cancel the booked lesson 12 hours before the start of the lesson. In such case, the money for the lesson is returned to the STUDENT’S e-konts balance. If the lesson is cancelled less than 12 hours before the start, the DRIVING SCHOOL compensates the lesson fee and tops up the STUDENT’S balance by EUR 20.00.
5.6. Before commencing practical driving training, the STUDENT presents the CSDD driving licence and the driving training process logbook to the instructor.
5.7. The STUDENT brings the driving training process logbook to each lesson, which is issued to the STUDENT by the DRIVING SCHOOL (at the office or by the instructor). The instructor makes an entry regarding the date of the lesson and what was completed during the lesson.
5.8. After completing the 10 minimum practical driving lessons (20 acad. hrs.) set out in the Regulations, in accordance with the STUDENT’S performance and readiness for the CSDD test, the instructor verbally informs the STUDENT about the need for additional lessons or sends the STUDENT to the DRIVING SCHOOL driving test.
5.9. The taking of the DRIVING SCHOOL driving test is permissible only after the DRIVING SCHOOL theory test has been passed – a mark has been made in the presto.lv profile.
5.10. The organisation and payment of the DRIVING SCHOOL driving test take place in the same way as any driving lesson, by choosing a driving instructor with whom no training has taken place before. Otherwise, it is counted as a regular driving lesson, and the instructor has no right to make a mark regarding completion of driving training.
5.11. Upon arriving for the lesson, the student informs the instructor that instead of the lesson the student wishes to take the test. Once it has been successfully passed, the examiner fills in a protocol in the presto.lv profile, which serves as confirmation of completion of driving training.
5.12. After the test, the protocol is available in the student’s profile section "Dokumenti". The test results may be contested within 5 days by submitting a complaint to the driving school in the form of an application.
5.13. After the test has been passed, the data are entered into the CSDD database within 5 working days. This allows the STUDENT to take the CSDD practical test, and the STUDENT receives an informational email about this.
6.1. Procedure for video-based theoretical training.
6.1.1. Theory courses are conducted remotely using the macam.lv platform.
6.1.2. The STUDENT ensures sufficient internet speed (min. 20 Mbps) with a stable internet connection.
6.1.3. The STUDENT is registered in the video training group within one week from the moment of application, after which the STUDENT receives an email invitation to join the video training platform and its user instructions. The first login to the system must be completed no later than 5 days after receipt of the email; otherwise, the user will be blocked (contact the administration).
6.1.4. The duration of the theoretical training course is from 4 weeks to 1 year and consists of 10 lessons (modules). The duration of each module is 5 academic hours. It is permitted to attend 1 module per day and 3 modules per week. The theory course is considered completed when all theory lessons have been attended, an assessment after each module has been passed, and the DRIVING SCHOOL theory test has been passed.
6.1.5. The STUDENT attends 6 theory lessons in video training. They may be watched at a freely chosen time and pace from Monday to Sunday, except from 23:55-00:05 (the system was carrying out data synchronisation with CSDD, therefore attendance will not be saved).
6.1.6. At the end of each video lecture, a test must be taken, consisting of 10 questions with one permissible mistake. The test may be taken 3 times. If the test is not passed, the respective lesson is not counted and must be studied again. In the video training environment, attendance is counted on the day when the lesson assessment is passed.
6.1.7. The STUDENT attends 4 theory lessons in person. The duration of each module is 5 academic hours. A lesson is considered attended if the STUDENT has attended and listened to all the specified study hours on the training day.
6.1.8. The STUDENT books in-person theory lessons electronically starting from the 15th day of training, using the DRIVING SCHOOL’s homepage presto.lv, selecting the desired branch, day and time.
6.1.9. Registration of the lesson with CSDD is completed within 3 working days, after which the STUDENT receives a confirmation email. Only after receiving the email is the STUDENT allowed to attend the booked theory lesson.
6.2. PROCEDURE FOR ONLINE THEORETICAL TRAINING
6.2.1. Theory courses are conducted remotely using the Cisco Webex video presentation tool.
6.2.2. The STUDENT ensures full participation in distance learning with camera and microphone capability provided by the basic or additional (peripheral) equipment or functionality of a computer or telephone, as well as sufficient internet speed; otherwise, attendance will not be counted.
6.2.3. The link to each lesson will be available in the STUDENT’S profile section "Teorijas grafiks" next to each lesson date. The lesson link is not sent by email!
We remind you that familiarising yourself with the presto.lv profile in good time will make it easier to connect before the lesson starts, so that it is successful and does not create unnecessary stress.
6.2.4. The STUDENT tries to arrive at the lesson in good time (10-30 min. before it starts) in order to avoid last-minute technical problems that could interfere with full participation in the lesson. In case of problems, the STUDENT immediately contacts the driving school administration using telephone No. +371 28813188 and email info@presto.lv.
6.2.5. Before entering the virtual training room using the received link, the STUDENT indicates their first name, surname and email address. The indicated details must match those specified in the agreement.
6.2.6. The instructor starts the lesson by marking the STUDENT’S attendance in the driving school and CSDD lesson attendance journal.
6.2.7. A video recording is made for lesson control purposes. The STUDENT hereby confirms consent to such recording. The video recording shall be stored for no longer than 1 (one) month.
6.2.8. Theoretical training remotely takes place during a state-declared emergency situation. After the end of the emergency situation, theoretical training will be provided in person at the selected driving school branch.
6.2.9. The STUDENT is prohibited from sharing information that enables a third person to participate in distance learning.
Missed theory lessons
6.3. For each lesson, the driving school has access to data generated by the video presentation tool on each STUDENT’S participation in the lesson - day, arrival time, end time, duration of participation in minutes. If the DRIVING SCHOOL determines that the STUDENT has interrupted attendance for a period longer than 10 minutes, a mark "Devies prom" is made in the driving school and CSDD attendance journal. A theory lesson is considered attended if the STUDENT has attended and listened to all the specified study hours on the training day.
6.4. The STUDENT applies electronically for the make-up of missed theory lessons using the DRIVING SCHOOL’s homepage presto.lv, selecting the desired make-up branch, day and time. Registration of the lesson with CSDD is completed within 2 working days, after which the STUDENT receives a confirmation email. After receiving the email, the STUDENT is permitted to attend the booked theory lesson.
6.5. If the STUDENT cannot attend the booked theory lesson (a first-time attendance of a theory lesson by a video training STUDENT, the make-up of missed theory lessons, or a rebooked make-up of a theory lesson if attendance has not been completed), the STUDENT must cancel the booking no later than 48 hours before the start of the lesson; otherwise, the fee paid for the lesson shall not be refunded to the STUDENT.
7.1. By signing the agreement, the STUDENT confirms that they have read and agree to comply with the internal rules of the DRIVING SCHOOL.
7.2. The DRIVING SCHOOL has the right to amend the Agreement unilaterally by notifying the STUDENT by telephone, in writing or during theoretical lessons 10 days in advance.
7.3. The DRIVING SCHOOL has the right to terminate the concluded agreement with the STUDENT without prior notice if:
7.3.1. the STUDENT fails to comply with the payment procedure;
7.3.2. the STUDENT makes unlawful payments to the instructor for the provision of driving lessons;
7.3.3. the STUDENT has provided false information for the conclusion of the agreement;
7.3.4. the STUDENT is aggressive during lessons or wilfully damages the property of the DRIVING SCHOOL. In such case, the STUDENT shall compensate the DRIVING SCHOOL for the losses caused within 3 working days; otherwise, the STUDENT undertakes additionally to pay a contractual penalty in double the amount of the value of the losses caused.
7.4. If either party terminates the agreement before its term, the money paid by the STUDENT shall not be refunded, except in the case specified in Clause 8.2. of the Agreement, and access to the system shall be closed.
7.5. The STUDENT agrees and the DRIVING SCHOOL is entitled to process the STUDENT’S personal data (collection, storage, registration, entry, transfer to CSDD). The purpose of the data processing is student registration and the provision of services.
7.6. The parties shall not be liable for failure to fulfil the obligations under the Agreement if caused by force majeure.
8.1. In the event that the DRIVING SCHOOL branch administrator or instructor does not fulfil the terms of this agreement, the STUDENT must immediately inform the management of the DRIVING SCHOOL using the telephone number indicated in the details.
8.2. On the basis of a justified complaint by the STUDENT, the DRIVING SCHOOL refunds the money for the relevant part of the training process. The student must immediately submit a written complaint. The management of the DRIVING SCHOOL shall review it within 10 working days.
8.3. Any irreconcilable dispute arising from this agreement shall be resolved in accordance with the procedures laid down by the laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia.
9.1. The STUDENT has the right to unilaterally withdraw from the Agreement within 14 days from the date of conclusion of the agreement if the service has not been used within those 14 days. In order to exercise the right of withdrawal, the STUDENT must complete a written withdrawal form, which is available electronically on the homepage, and submit it electronically or send it to the legal address of the DRIVING SCHOOL: Ģertrūdes iela 19/21-4, Rīga, LV – 1011, Latvija. The withdrawal form may be downloaded HERE. In order to comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient for the STUDENT to send their notice of exercising the right of withdrawal before the expiry of the withdrawal period.
9.2. The right of withdrawal cannot be exercised in the following cases:
9.2.1. after the expiry of the period prescribed by law, i.e. 14 days;
9.2.2. if the provision of the service has commenced.
9.3. The amount paid for the service, when exercising the right of withdrawal, shall be refunded to the STUDENT in full no later than within 21 (twenty-one) days from the date on which the DRIVING SCHOOL is informed (receives the withdrawal form) of the STUDENT’S decision to withdraw from this agreement. The refund shall be made using the same means of payment that the STUDENT used for the initial transaction, unless the STUDENT has expressly agreed otherwise.
10.1. The agreement enters into force upon its signing. It is drawn up in 2 copies - one for the DRIVING SCHOOL and the other for the STUDENT.
10.2. The term of the agreement – 3 years.
10.3. The agreement is terminated if the STUDENT fails to pass the DRIVING SCHOOL theory test within 1 year from the registration of the training group with CSDD, or has not obtained a driving licence within 3 years (the CSDD driving test has been passed).
10.4. In both cases referred to in Clause 10.3., a new training agreement is concluded for the full scope of training.
