CATEGORY A2 FULL DISTANCE TRAINING AGREEMENT

LLC “Presto Autoskola”, hereinafter referred to as the “DRIVING SCHOOL”, and , hereinafter referred to as the “STUDENT”, conclude the following agreement, hereinafter – the “Agreement”:
1.1. The DRIVING SCHOOL shall provide the STUDENT with training for the selected category in accordance with Cabinet Regulation No. 358 “Regulations on the Training of Vehicle Drivers and Driver Training Programmes” (hereinafter – the “Regulations”).
1.2. Upon conclusion of the Agreement, a profile with a Presto e-account (hereinafter – the “e-account”) is automatically created for the STUDENT. Profile access: username – the STUDENT’s e-mail specified in the Agreement; password – the Agreement number. After logging into the system, the STUDENT shall change the password.

3.1. The STUDENT may make payment:
3.1.1. by bank payment card;
3.1.2. by bank transfer based on the Agreement, indicating the Agreement number and purpose;
3.1.3. in cash at the DRIVING SCHOOL office;
3.1.4. with a gift card via the personalised profile on presto.lv (it is possible to pay for the theory course, top up the e-account).
4.1. Lessons will take place – X, ....
4.2. Training language – Latviešu.
4.3. In accordance with the Regulations, the group start date may be postponed if there is an insufficient minimum number of persons for the start of training. The DRIVING SCHOOL informs the STUDENT about the exact start date of the lessons.
4.4. If lessons do not start within 45 days from the moment of signing the Agreement, the STUDENT has the right to request a refund of the paid money with or without termination of the Agreement.
4.5. A theory lesson is considered attended if the STUDENT has attended all scheduled study hours on the study day.
4.6. The STUDENT registers for the make-up of missed theory lessons electronically using the DRIVING SCHOOL website presto.lv, choosing the desired branch, day and time. The registration of the lesson with CSDD is made within 3 working days, after which the STUDENT receives a confirmation e-mail. After receiving the e-mail, the STUDENT is allowed to attend the registered theory lesson.
4.7. If the STUDENT cannot attend the registered make-up theory lesson, he/she is obliged to cancel the application no later than 48h before the start of the lesson; otherwise, the amount paid for the lesson is not refunded.
4.8. The DRIVING SCHOOL theory exam is organised electronically using the DRIVING SCHOOL website presto.lv.
4.9. The STUDENT is admitted to the theory exam provided that all obligations to the DRIVING SCHOOL have been settled, and a valid medical certificate and a First Aid certificate are available.
4.10. It is allowed to take the DRIVING SCHOOL theory exam once per day. It consists of 30 questions. The STUDENT may make 1 mistake; otherwise, the exam must be taken again.
4.11. Upon arrival at the DRIVING SCHOOL theory exam, the STUDENT presents an identity document; otherwise, he/she is not admitted to it.
4.12. If the STUDENT cannot attend the theory exam, he/she must cancel it not later than 24h before the start of the exam; otherwise, the amount paid for the exam is not returned to the STUDENT to the e-account balance.
4.13. Within 1 year from registration in the CSDD study group, the STUDENT must pass the DRIVING SCHOOL theory exam. If the STUDENT takes the theory exam before the age of 18, the STUDENT must retake it upon reaching 18 years. If the theory exam was passed before the age of 18, the re-registration and retake of the primary exam is free of charge.
4.14. The DRIVING SCHOOL enters the data into the CSDD database within 5 working days, after which the CSDD theory exam becomes available, about which the STUDENT receives an informative e-mail.
4.15. The DRIVING SCHOOL theory exam is organised electronically using the DRIVING SCHOOL website presto.lv. The exam may be taken in person at the Riga Central district branch only as an exception by applying by phone +371 28813188 or email: info@presto.lv.
4.16. The STUDENT is admitted to the theory exam provided that all obligations to the DRIVING SCHOOL have been settled, and a valid medical certificate and a First Aid certificate are available.
4.17. It is allowed to take the DRIVING SCHOOL theory exam once per day. It consists of 30 questions. The STUDENT may make 1 mistake; otherwise, the exam must be taken again.
4.18. For remote taking of the exam, the Cisco Webex video presentation tool on a phone for camera provision and the AnyDesk computer program for remote taking of the exam on the DRIVING SCHOOL computer are used. Thus, both a phone and a computer will be required at the same time.
4.19. The STUDENT is invited to the remote exam to the e-mail specified in the Agreement. In the e-mail, he/she sees the lesson time and a link to join it. The STUDENT is prohibited from sharing the link with unauthorised persons.
4.20. Before entering the virtual exam room using the given link, the STUDENT is asked to indicate his/her name, surname and his/her e-mail once again. The STUDENT indicates his/her real name, surname and the e-mail specified in the Agreement.
4.21. After entering the virtual exam room, the STUDENT props the phone against the computer monitor or places the computer so that the STUDENT is clearly visible to the examiner from the front and it does not disturb taking the exam. During the exam, the STUDENT is prohibited from averting eye contact from the monitor, turning, leaving the exam place, talking to other persons except the examiner, as well as performing any actions not related to taking the exam. At the examiner’s request, the STUDENT shows the room in which he/she is located so that the examiner can be convinced of the fairness of the exam.
4.22. The STUDENT presents a passport or an identity card to the examiner. The examiner ensures the STUDENT’s readiness to start the exam.
4.23. The examiner asks the STUDENTS to start the AnyDesk program. The examiner gives each examinee a connection numerical code in the online chat, which must be entered in the AnyDesk program. After a short time, the connection will be approved, and the STUDENT starts taking the exam on the presto.lv website.
4.24. The STUDENT ensures full participation in the online theory exam with the possibility to ensure the operation of the camera and microphone, the necessary software downloaded in advance, as well as sufficient internet speed. Otherwise, the examiner may refuse to accept the online theory exam.
4.25. If any of the above points of the “online exam administration” section are not followed, the examiner may interrupt the taking of the exam by informing the STUDENT and indicating the reason (first time a warning, second time – disqualification from the exam), as a result of which the exam will not be credited and must be retaken by applying in accordance with the procedure specified in the Agreement as a re-exam.
4.26. After the exam, the DRIVING SCHOOL representative informs the STUDENT about the exam result.
4.27. If the STUDENT cannot participate in the theory exam, he/she must cancel it not later than 24h before the start of the exam; otherwise, the amount paid for the exam is not returned to the STUDENT to the e-account balance.
4.28. The DRIVING SCHOOL enters the data into the CSDD database within 5 working days, after which the CSDD theory exam becomes available, about which the STUDENT receives an informative e-mail.
4.29. A video recording is made for exam control. The STUDENT hereby confirms his/her consent to its implementation. The video recording is stored for no more than 1 (one) month.
4.30. Within 3 working days after passing the DRIVING SCHOOL theory exam, the STUDENT must register for the CSDD theoretical exam and take it not later than within 20 days, otherwise the DRIVING SCHOOL has the right to annul the exam result.
4.31. If the STUDENT does not have a First Aid course certificate, he/she applies and pays for the First Aid course on the DRIVING SCHOOL website (https://presto.lv/pirma-palidziba-kursi) or in person at the DRIVING SCHOOL. The course assessment takes place at the end of the 2nd lesson. Persons with secondary or higher medical education or studying in relevant educational institutions are exempt.
4.32. If the STUDENT cannot attend the First Aid course, he/she must cancel the application not later than 72h before the start of the course; otherwise, the amount paid for the training is not refunded to the STUDENT.
4.33. If the STUDENT does not have a driver’s medical certificate, the STUDENT selects a medical commission at one of the medical institutions on the DRIVING SCHOOL website (https://presto.lv/mediciniska-izzina) by submitting an electronic application and payment (special price).
5.1. Before starting driving lessons, the STUDENT undertakes to obtain a driving learning permit at CSDD in person.
5.2. Driving instruction is organised electronically using the DRIVING SCHOOL website presto.lv. Any booking or rescheduling of driving lessons outside the presto.lv electronic system is prohibited.
5.3. According to the order specified in Section 2 of the Agreement, after receiving the first payment, the STUDENT’s e-account balance is supplemented by EUR 150.00 for booking driving lessons. Additional payments are made in accordance with Section 3.
5.4. The STUDENT carefully selects the desired city of the lesson, gearbox, instructor, date and category using filters, selects the lesson time and, taking into account the price list of the respective instructor, confirms it. When the term specified in Clause 5.5. occurs, it will no longer be possible to correct selection errors.
5.5. If the STUDENT cannot attend the driving lesson, he/she must cancel it not later than 24h before the start of the lesson; otherwise, the amount paid for the driving training is not returned to the STUDENT to the e-account balance.
5.6. The instructor has the right to refuse the registered lesson up to 3h before the start of the lesson. In such a case, the money for the lesson is returned to the STUDENT in the e-account balance. If the lesson is cancelled less than 3h before the start, the DRIVING SCHOOL compensates the lesson fee and adds EUR 20.00 to the STUDENT’s balance.
5.7. Before starting practical driving training, the STUDENT presents the CSDD driving learning permit to the instructor.
5.8. For each driving lesson, the instructor makes an entry in the presto.lv profile evaluating the intensity of the lesson, the driving location and marking the assessments for the training performed.
5.9. After completing the minimum of 10 practical driving lessons (20 academic hours) specified in the Regulations, according to the STUDENT’s performance and readiness for the CSDD exam, the instructor verbally informs the STUDENT about the need for additional lessons or refers the STUDENT to the DRIVING SCHOOL practical exam.
5.10. Taking the DRIVING SCHOOL practical exam is allowed only after passing the DRIVING SCHOOL theory exam – an entry has been made in the presto.lv profile.
5.11. The DRIVING SCHOOL practical exam is organised and paid for like any driving lesson by selecting a driving instructor with whom no training has been taken. Otherwise, it is counted as a regular driving lesson and the instructor does not have the right to make a note about the completion of the driving training.
5.12. The DRIVING SCHOOL practical exam is paid as for a driving lesson. In Riga, the STUDENT selects the examiner (EXAMINER RIGA 1, 2, etc.) in the driving lesson schedule, but outside Riga, the STUDENT selects a driving instructor for the examination with whom no training has been taken. Otherwise, it is counted as a regular driving lesson.
5.13. The driving exam may not be delayed for more than 15 minutes. In such cases, the acceptance of the exam is refused due to insufficient time for its completion. The exam fee is not refunded.
5.14. After passing the exam, the data are entered into the CSDD database within 5 working days. This allows the STUDENT to take the CSDD practical exam, about which the STUDENT receives an informative e-mail.
6.1. Video theory training procedure.
6.1.1. The theory courses take place remotely using the platform presto.lv for studies in Latvian and macam.lv for studies in Russian.
6.1.2. The STUDENT ensures sufficient internet speed (min. 20 Mbps) with a stable connection.
6.1.3. The STUDENT is registered in the video training group within one week from the moment of application, after which an invitation to join the video training platform and its user instructions are received by e-mail. The first login to the system must be made no later than 5 days from the moment of receipt of the e-mail; otherwise, the user will be blocked (contact the administration).
6.1.4. The duration of the theoretical course is from 4 weeks to 1 year, consisting of 11 lessons (modules). Each module lasts 5 academic hours. It is allowed to attend 1 module per day and 3 modules per week. The theoretical course is considered completed when all theory lessons have been attended, the assessment after each module has been passed and the DRIVING SCHOOL theory exam has been passed.
6.1.5. The STUDENT attends 8 theory lessons in video training. They can be watched at a freely selected time and pace from Monday to Sunday, except from 23:55 to 00:05 (the system performs data synchronisation with CSDD; therefore, the attendance will not be saved).
6.1.6. During the video lessons, the STUDENT must answer presence test questions (within 20 seconds); if this is not done, the video must be listened to again.
6.1.7. At the end of each video lesson, a test must be taken, consisting of 10 questions and one permissible mistake. The test may be taken 3 times. If the test is not passed, the respective lesson is not credited and must be mastered again. In the video training environment, the attendance is credited on the day when the lesson assessment is passed.
6.1.8. The STUDENT attends 3 theory lessons in person. Each module lasts 5 academic hours. A lesson is considered attended if the STUDENT has attended and listened to all scheduled study hours on the study day.
6.1.9. The STUDENT registers for in-person theory lessons electronically starting from the 15th day of training, using the DRIVING SCHOOL website presto.lv, choosing the desired branch, day and time.
6.1.10. The registration of the lessons with CSDD is made within 3 working days, after which the STUDENT receives a confirmation e-mail. Only after receiving the e-mail is the STUDENT allowed to attend the registered theory lesson.
6.2. For each lesson, the video presentation tool provides data to the DRIVING SCHOOL about each STUDENT’s participation in the lesson – day, arrival time, end time, participation duration in minutes. If the DRIVING SCHOOL finds that the STUDENT has interrupted presence for more than 10 minutes, a remark “Left” is made in the attendance journal of the DRIVING SCHOOL and CSDD. A theory lesson is considered attended if the STUDENT has attended and listened to all scheduled study hours on the study day.
6.3. The STUDENT registers for the make-up of missed theory lessons electronically using the DRIVING SCHOOL website presto.lv, choosing the desired branch, day and time. The registration of the lesson with CSDD is made within 3 working days, after which the STUDENT receives a confirmation e-mail. After receiving the e-mail, the STUDENT is allowed to attend the registered theory lesson.
6.4. If the STUDENT cannot attend the registered theory lesson (first-time attendance for video training STUDENT, make-up of a missed theory lesson, or repeated registered make-up of a theory lesson if no attendance was made), he/she must cancel the application not later than 48h before the start of the lesson; otherwise, the amount paid for the lesson is not refunded.
6.5. If the STUDENT does not have a First Aid course certificate, he/she applies and pays for the First Aid course on the DRIVING SCHOOL website (https://presto.lv/pirma-palidziba-kursi). Theory courses take place remotely using the Cisco Webex video presentation tool.
6.6. The STUDENT ensures full participation in the distance learning with camera and microphone functionality provided by the basic or additional (peripheral) equipment or functionality of the computer or phone; otherwise, attendance will not be credited.
6.7. The STUDENT receives an invitation to the remote lesson in the e-mail indicated in the Agreement. The e-mail shows the lesson time and a link to join it. If 72 hours before the start of the lesson the STUDENT has not received the e-mail with the invitation, he/she must immediately contact the DRIVING SCHOOL to solve the problem.
6.8. The STUDENT tries to join the lesson on time (10–30 minutes before its start) to avoid last-minute technical problems that may hinder full participation in the lesson. In case of problems, the STUDENT immediately contacts the DRIVING SCHOOL administration using the phone +371 28813188 and email info@presto.lv.
6.9. Before entering the virtual training room using the received link, the STUDENT indicates his/her name, surname and e-mail. The indicated data must match those specified in the Agreement.
6.10. The lecturer starts the lesson with marking the attendance of the STUDENTS in the attendance journal.
6.11. If the STUDENT cannot attend the First Aid course, he/she must cancel the application not later than 48h before the start of the course; otherwise, the amount paid for the training is not refunded.
6.12. Persons with secondary or higher medical education or studying in the relevant educational institutions are exempt from the First Aid course.
6.13. After listening to the theoretical part, the DRIVING SCHOOL sends the STUDENT information about the place and time of the practical part. The STUDENT understands that this may be delayed until the end of the emergency situation; therefore, no claims will be raised against the DRIVING SCHOOL. After completing the practical part, the STUDENT will immediately be issued a certificate for completing the First Aid course.
7.1. By signing the Agreement, the STUDENT confirms that he/she has read and agrees to comply with the DRIVING SCHOOL internal rules.
7.2. The DRIVING SCHOOL has the right to unilaterally amend the Agreement by notifying by phone, in writing or during theory lessons 10 days in advance.
7.3. The DRIVING SCHOOL has the right to terminate the concluded Agreement with the STUDENT without prior notice if:
7.3.1. the STUDENT does not comply with the payment procedure (the Agreement is terminated and data on course attendance are not entered into the CSDD unified database);
7.3.2. the STUDENT makes illegal payments to the instructor for driving lessons;
7.3.3. the STUDENT has provided false information for the conclusion of the Agreement;
7.3.4. the STUDENT is aggressive during lessons or maliciously damages the DRIVING SCHOOL’s property. In such a case, the STUDENT shall pay the DRIVING SCHOOL the damages caused within 3 working days; otherwise, undertakes to additionally pay a contractual penalty in double the amount of the damages caused.
7.4. If either party terminates the Agreement before the term, the amounts paid by the STUDENT are not refunded, except in the case specified in Clause 8.2. of the Agreement, and access to the system is closed.
7.5. The STUDENT agrees and the DRIVING SCHOOL is entitled to process the STUDENT’s personal data (collection, storage, registration, entry, transfer to CSDD). The purpose of processing is student registration and the provision of services.
7.6. It is prohibited for the STUDENT to make video or audio recordings during the lessons.
7.7. The Parties are not responsible for non-performance of the obligations of the Agreement if it was caused by force majeure.
8.1. If the DRIVING SCHOOL branch administrator or instructor does not fulfil the conditions of this Agreement, the STUDENT is obliged to immediately inform the DRIVING SCHOOL management using the phone indicated in the details.
8.2. Upon a justified claim by the STUDENT, the DRIVING SCHOOL returns the money for the corresponding part of the training process. The STUDENT must immediately submit a written claim. The DRIVING SCHOOL management reviews it within 10 working days.
8.3. Any unresolved dispute arising from this Agreement shall be resolved in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Latvia.
9.1. The STUDENT has the right to unilaterally withdraw from the Agreement within 14 days from the date of conclusion of the Agreement, if the service has not been used within these 14 days. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the STUDENT must fill in a written withdrawal form available electronically on the website and submit it electronically or send it to the DRIVING SCHOOL’s legal address: Ģertrūdes iela 19/21-4, Rīga, LV-1011, Latvia. The withdrawal form can be downloaded HERE. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for the STUDENT to send their notification of exercising the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.
9.2. The right of withdrawal cannot be exercised in the following cases:
9.2.1. after the statutory term has expired, i.e. 14 days;
9.2.2. if the provision of the service has begun.
9.3. The amount of money paid for the service, when exercising the right of withdrawal, will be refunded to the STUDENT in full no later than 21 (twenty-one) days after the DRIVING SCHOOL is informed (receives the withdrawal form) of the STUDENT’s decision to withdraw from this Agreement. The refund will be made using the same means of payment that the STUDENT used for the initial transaction, unless the STUDENT has clearly expressed consent to do otherwise.
9.3.1. Gift cards can be used only to cover training services. Refunds for them are not possible, but if necessary, the money can be transferred to another person who is studying/will study at Presto Autoskola.
9.4. The DRIVING SCHOOL returns the money for an unprovided service if the application was made within 36 months from the moment of purchase, within the term of the Agreement.
10.1. The Agreement enters into force upon signature. It is drawn up in 2 copies – one for the DRIVING SCHOOL, the other – for the STUDENT.
10.2. Term of the Agreement – 3 years.
10.3. The Agreement is terminated if the STUDENT has not started training within 1 year from the moment of conclusion of the Agreement (Clause 9.4. applies).
10.4. In both cases under Clause 10.3., a new training agreement is concluded for the full training volume.

9.7. By clicking the SIGN AGREEMENT button, the Parties have concluded this Distance Agreement.
